DAY TRIP TO INTERLAKEN, SWITZERLAND

Ok guys. I know I say this about everywhere I go, but Switzerland is actually one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. We took the train from Zurich early in the morning to head to Interlaken where we explored for awhile before hopping on another short train to Lauterbrunnen.

It’s easy to say that Lauterbrunnen has some of the most breathtaking sights to see. With a waterfall smack dab in the middle of town, how could it not be?

There is so much to do in Interlaken that we didn’t have time for, including but not limited to: paragliding, touring the Swiss Alps, hiking trails, cheese tastings, or even taking a train to the “top” of Europe. Being surrounded by some of the highest mountains- skydiving is a hit here.

We had so much fun train hopping, wandering around on foot and making new friends. We even convinced a Swiss friend to come with us (living in Zurich he had never actually taken the trek to Interlaken) so it was a new experience for all of us! I have to give another big shout out to our friend, Felix, for hosting us during our stay in Zurich. Hanging out with the locals is the best way to see a new city. Overall- if you love to sightsee, this is the place to be!
